Canadian Cookies
2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter 2 tablespoons golden syrup
4 tablespoons cocoa pinch of salt
Boil together in a heavy saucepan. Boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and mix in:
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups rolled oats
Mix until it starts to thicken & drop spoonfuls on a tray with greaseproof paper. Set in fridge.
