iDownloader Pro Recommendation for iPhone or iPad

I recently installed the application iDownloader Pro on my iPad and feel it is time to recommend it to you all. The capabilities of this application far outweigh the small $1.99 fee you will pay to download it.

With this app you can easily download anything from the internet, play or view and then transfer them to your computer.

This application has so many uses, once you start to realise what you can download into it and how easy it is you will be downloading everything. No need to get on the computer every time you want a new video or music clip. It even has the ability to download documents of many different file types.


Once you have opened the application you can go into the  Safari browser section find a video or document on a website, tap or hold your finger on the screen and you will see a pop up which gives you the option to download the item. Next you will be given the option to rename the item you are downloading. 

Once the process starts it will show up in the downloading section until it is complete. You can also choose how many items you can download simultaneously in the settings section. The downloaded file is then found in the file area where you can, play a video, edit, sort and move to your desired area on your device and then delete it.


iDownloader Pro works most of the time and for most sites, except Youtube due to the site’s terms. If you have any difficulty getting the download popup to work, maybe try , if available, the mobile version of the site.
